**Just an FYI** The LC Ambulance EMT crews will be doing a training with the North Memorial Hospital helicopter this evening between 6-8 pm. They will be landing on Field 1 at the High School. We may not always be able to give you a heads up on these things, but want to when we can to not alarm anyone!

This is a bit of old news but a neat opportunity! Back in May, 31 fifth-grade students had the chance to "meet" their pen pals from France! After corresponding for the majority of the school year, Mrs. Caldwell's class enjoyed a French Crepe (recipe shared by their French penpals but made by Mrs. Caldwell) and learned some French words during their video chat with their pen pals! Mrs. Caldwell's classes have corresponded with this same school for about five years but this was the first time the classes ever got to meet "face-to-face!

The new zipline is being installed at the elementary today! PLEASE DO NOT PLAY ON IT YET! We are just as excited about it as you are, but it shouldn't be used until then so the concrete can set appropriately! We will take the caution tape down on FRIDAY so PLEASE stay off until then!! We want to say a HUGE thank you to ALL of YOU who contributed to our multiple PTO fundraisers so we could purchase this equipment! It will be enjoyed by many for years to come!!
