The 2nd and 3rd grade Christmas music program is just around the corner! Join us on Thursday, December 12th for an evening filled with festive music and holiday cheer. We can't wait to see you there and celebrate the season together! 🎄

🌟 What a fantastic group of students last week as our Noble Knights! 🌟 We are continually amazed by the leadership and examples these kids set every day. Keep shining, everyone!

Don't forget your child's winter gear!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Noble Knights for demonstrating responsibility, respectfulness, and safety. Your hard work and positive examples inspire those around you. Keep shining bright! 🙌✨

🌟 Yesterday, LCWM Elementary staff and students came together to honor our veterans during a heartfelt program. Our students sang songs, read touching thank-you letters, and paid tribute to all veterans. We are incredibly grateful for the sacrifices made by veterans past and present in serving our country and protecting our freedom. Thank you for your service! ❤️

🌟 A huge thank you to Blue Earth County for teaching our 3rd graders essential winter safety rules and guidelines! ❄️ The kids had a fantastic time learning and even got the chance to sit in a sheriff's patrol vehicle and one of Blue Earth County's snow plows! 🚓🚜 What an exciting and educational experience!

🎉 Another week of students modeling Noble Knight behavior! We are so proud of our students and the positive behavior they consistently show. Keep up the great work, Knights! 🏆💙

We are very grateful to our community for supporting the district bond referendum. Your vote will allow us to make vital improvements that will enhance our schools, grounds, and learning environments. This investment reflects your commitment to the future of our children and the quality of education in our district. Thank you for placing your trust in us; we are excited to move forward together and turn these plans into reality!

Last Friday, the MSU nursing students hosted the "Teddy Bear Clinic," a fun and interactive healthcare experience for our kindergarten friends! 🧸💉 The little ones brought their favorite stuffed toys to bandage up and care for, learning about compassion and health in a hands-on way. It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, learning, and a whole lot of love!

LCWM students exercised their civic duty in a mock election, gaining hands-on experience with the voting process today!
Secondary students were able to go to the media center this morning or to the stage at lunchtime, initial next to their names on the "registered voter" papers, receive a ballot to cast at the ballot stations, and place their ballots in the ballot box. They also received an "I've Voted" sticker.
High schools across the state are also voting and reporting the results at this website, sponsored by the Secretary of State. LCWM votes will be tallied after school and reported by tomorrow! https://lookerstudio.google.com/u/0/reporting/7d9aebc9-04c9-445e-ba8a-f3ed42863d65/page/6bJWB
The fourth and fifth graders at the elementary school also voted for their favorite candidate today. They have been learning about elections, the Electoral College, and the branches of government. They will continue with the Constitution and the amendments to finish out their study of American Government.

We are excited to announce that starting tomorrow, all grades will be participating in a food drive to support our local food shelf! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back to the community and help those in need.
Donation Details:
Dates: November 6th through November 22nd
What to Bring: Please send in non-perishable food items with your child. Canned goods, pasta, rice, and other shelf-stable products that can help make a difference in someone’s life.
Each classroom will have a collection box, and we encourage friendly competition to see which class can collect the most items! Let's work together to make this food drive a success and show our community the power of kindness and generosity.
Thank you for your support! Together, we can make a positive impact! 🌟❤️

📚✨ In Ms. Johnson's class, the students had a fantastic "book tasting" event! Each table was filled with an exciting selection of books from various genres, giving students the chance to explore new stories and styles. After diving into their chosen reads, the students wrote reviews, sharing their thoughts and discoveries. It was a wonderful way to spark their love for reading and encourage them to try different types of books!
