The elementary school will be taking a school-wide photo this Thursday morning. Each grade will have a different "class color" to wear.

Mrs. Graupman's 1st and 2nd grade PE classes were doing a lot of jumping this morning in the "Kids Heart Challenge" to help raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. They put their practice to the test using a variety of techniques they've been working on in P.E. Thank you, Mrs. Graupman, for doing this with your students!

It's that time of year again...PTO's annual Morning with Mom and Race for Education is coming up on Friday, May 12th!

24 4th and 5th-grade students participated in Math Masters at Bethany Lutheran College on Friday. The 2 4th-grade teams took 2nd and 4th place out of 12 teams. The 3 5th-grade teams placed 7th, 20th, and 26th out of 37 teams. Jackson Engel, Walter Johannes, Kenadi Earhardt, Beckett Carter, and Keegan Grunig each received individual awards as well. Way to go LCWM!

A huge Shout Out to Mrs. Nelson for planning and organizing the first-ever Earth Day cleanup at the elementary and secondary. We had over
40 people (children, parents, and staff) show up on a cold windy day.
The coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts seemed to help everyone forget
the cold.

Fifth graders have been traveling from CA to PA via a fun Geography Learning game called Mystery Skype. They use Google Meet to go to other schools and ask yes/no questions to see which class can figure out where the other is from first. They’ve won and lost but are always learning something new.

These Wrestlers are heading to State!

Mrs. Caldwell’s 5th Grade (3rd Trimester) Social Studies class has been learning theories about Pangea and how people may have migrated to America via the land bridge or by boat. They experienced how difficult it was to carve arrowheads with rocks and deer antlers by carving with soap.
